Ihsaga is the most unstable land of Avalon. It is characterized by large cracks, crystalline slopes, and discolored fauna. It was not so in the beginning. Excessive magical experiments brought about this change. What further intensified this effect was Merlin’s Catalyst Tower, which continuously extracts the Ley Knot on which it lies, infuriating the ancient earth.
I conjure that one day Ihsaga will be responsible for the downfall of us all!

History
The southern land, which is largely occupied by Ihsaga, is dominated by wizards, sorcerers and haughty nobility. The rest of Avalon tends to avoid setting foot on Ihsaga, as it is known to unleash dangerous arcane accidents.
The ruling families are highly hostile towards each other, always trying to eliminate rivals to climb the hierarchy.
The Archon – King Wyndam
King Wyndam Volamo probably has the most dangerous position in all of Avalon. To counteract the overwhelming accumulation of arcane magic in Ihsaga, it was decided to store excess magic in one person, the Archon.
He and his entourage were also tasked with acting as justices of peace, his Sarte Justitios. Making him the greatest hated person in Ihsaga, because he could use his entire pool of magic as punishment. The families would rather see him dead to take his place. But he is not bothered by this, he enjoys the power that the Archon brings with him.
Another effect of being an Archon is a near-stop to his human aging, which makes it hard to depict how old King Wyndam is by now.

Locations
Merlins Tower:
Catalyst Tower – With its positioning over the most powerful woven Ley Knot on Avalon, Merlin has a near-infinite source of mana to use for his experiments. Many of the wizards residing in Ihsaga look up to Merlin and try to achieve similar greatness.
Ihsilen:
The Eye of Changes – Ihsilen is the capital of Ihsaga. It stands in the middle of the Violetti Woods. A golden spark amid deformed nature. Just as the forest is constantly changing, Ihsilen is never the same. The Construttore Mages try their best to at least keep the layout of the city, with its different districts, the same through magical seals. But they have come to terms with the fact that Ihsilen seems to have a life of its own.
Ihseves:
Ihseves was the first city to be built in Ihsaga. Many old families settled there because they wanted to keep to themselves. They did not allow the city to develop too far. Many believe that these old families secretly influence politics in Ihsaga from there.
Helmont:
Helmont’s seat at the beginning of the river Miele, which meanders past Ihsilen, is the first sign of Ihsaga‘s splendor and architecture. Not for nothing is it known as the city of the Manefare, the craftsman of Ihsaga.
Vendonna:
Vendonna’s close location to the inland made it a flourishing trading town.
Markense:
Markense is probably the only town in Ihsaga that tries to live together with druids and learn from each other. Which leads to a lot of friction in the families who don’t want to accept the old magic.
Amarese:
Like the dwarves of Thumtor, Amarese became known for weaving magic into weapons and armor. The town is always well-frequented, with many from abroad making use of its services.
Virona:
Virona’s seclusion in the hinterland of Ihsaga made it known to be the retreat for many mages.
Merioneth:
Merioneth lies on the border that Merlin indicated in whose radius he tolerated cities around his tower. He reasoned that it was for their safety.
It is inhabited by many young mages and has some of the best academies for magic practitioners.
